SUMMER PROGRAMS & INTERNSHIPS

Yale Young Global Scholars, Politics Law & Economics
At the Yale Young Global Scholars program, I delved into the intersections of law, politics, and economics in the PLE track. I co-designed policies for a multicultural political party as part of a capstone project, participated in seminars that deepened my understanding of governance and justice systems, and performed at the YYGS Speaker Series. This intellectually enriching experience broadened my global perspective and fueled my passion for equitable policymaking and collaborative solutions to societal challenges.

During the Oxford Summer Courses on Law, I earned a perfect grade of 10/10 in an immersive, in-person program. The course covered key areas of criminal, human rights, contract, tort, and public law, using real-life case studies to explore their practical applications.
My final presentation, "To criminalize deep-rooted concepts, traditions, and values would create chaos in the law," examined the balance between legal reform and societal values, reflecting the nuanced discussions the program encouraged. This experience deepened my understanding of legal principles and their intersection with culture and governance.

Trilegal Law Firm, Legal Intern
At Trilegal, I explored healthcare and technology law, analyzing India’s legislature alongside HIPAA and highlighting how gaps in patient privacy laws disproportionately affect marginalized groups. I also proposed policies like compulsory licensing to improve access to life-saving drugs during crises. This experience reinforced my belief that healthcare laws should prioritize human rights over profits and inspired me to envision reforms that serve humanity better.

Polyphony Lit, Editing Intern
As a Junior Editor at Polyphony Lit, I honed my skills in editing for literary magazines, providing detailed feedback and constructive critiques on submissions to help young writers refine their work. I also shortlisted pieces for publication, ensuring they met the magazine’s high standards. This experience deepened my appreciation for nurturing emerging voices and the collaborative process of literary editing.

Writing Intern, India Lost And Found
As part of India Lost & Found, a non-profit promoting awareness of India's historical sites, I researched and crafted compelling articles that brought lesser-known monuments to life. Through storytelling, I aimed to inspire appreciation for India's rich heritage and encourage its preservation.
